Comprehensive Vet Care

Pets are more than companions.  They are family.  At East Holland Veterinary Clinic, we feel the same about all our furry, feathery, or scaly patients.  That's why we created a calm and relaxing atmosphere in our waiting area and examination rooms.  Our expert staff knows how to make vet care less stressful for pets and owners alike.

Why Your Pet Needs Routine Care

How many times have you wondered what your pet was thinking?  Since your pet cannot tell you when something is wrong, your pet should be examined at least once per year. Many pets hide their symptoms, making it difficult to tell on your own when your pet is ill. Annual exams enable our veterinarian to spot health concerns early.  Early detection increases the chances of a positive outcome.

Comprehensive Vet Care

Routine health exams are crucial to a pet's health.  During these exams, our veterinarian will look at your pet's overall health and check for potential problems.  We will record your pet’s weight, and listen to his or her heart and lungs.  Our veterinarian will also check your pet's eyes, ears, nose, and mouth for signs of potential medical problems.  We will also examine your pet's body to ensure proper development.

During your pet’s routine exam, our veterinarian will discuss ongoing care for your pet. This may include spaying, neutering, vaccinations, and parasite prevention. As pets age, they require more frequent medical attention. Our veterinarian will explain changing vet care requirements for senior pets with you.

Emergency Vet Care

East Holland Veterinary Clinic offers emergency and urgent care services to Holland, MI, and surrounding areas. Emergencies are life-threatening conditions that require immediate care, such as open wounds.  Other emergencies may include the ingesting of poisonous substances or sharp objects.

Urgent care is available to pets that need care for non-life-threatening conditions but cannot wait for a scheduled appointment.  Under these circumstances, our staff may be able to work your pet into our schedule.  Caring for pets is more than a job.  It's a commitment that we take very seriously.
